The Senate on wednesday completed the screening exercise of the ministerial list with five ministerial nominees.

The screening exercise which commenced around 11:00 a.m with Dr. Okechukwu Eyinna Enelamah. Enelamah who took the floor appreciated the presidency, the senate and the general public for the opportunity to serve the nation. In the course of the screening, the financial expert tackles many issues facing the nation and profe some solutions to the problem. In his words, " everyone in the country needs a shared vision to move the country forward, the potential of this country is enormous and there is every need to work in cohesion in other to move the nation forward," he said.

Enelamah pointed out that there is a need to create an enabling environment in other to attract investors into the country and create employment.

Next to take the floor was Prof. Anwuka Anthony, from Imo State, a former Vice Chancellor of Imo state University.

The academia submitted that there are problems in the educational system especially in the conduct of UTME which he called for a holistic look into the area.

Prof. Anthony charged the federal government to declare a state of emergency in the educational due to the level of decadence in the sector ranging from infrastructure to policies which are not in conformity with the system.

According to him, " there is a problem in the educational system, no link between the school system and what the student want to learn," Anthony said.

On his own part, Muhammed Musa Bello, the third nominee from Adamawa pointed out that the problem associate with Fulani is bourne out of resource control and reaffirmed that criminality has nothing to do with fulani.

As a chairman of the Hajj Commission, he believed that Hajj management in the country has improved tremendously.

However, the other nominees, Adamu Adamu from Bauchi  and Aisha Abubakar from Sokoto were asked to take a bow after asked to take a bow after introduction.

The plenary session has been adjourned to Thursday, 29th of October, 2015.
