| The gory picture of Adubarin |
Samuel Omosaba, 42 years, was on Tuesday arrested by the Police for allegedly beheading
his three year-old niece, Adubarin Kola in Ondo State South-West, Nigeria.
.
It was revealed that the Omosaba who was
jobless had contacted an herbalist for money ritual and the spiritualist had told him that the only way to make him rich
was for him to look for a head of a baby.
Daily post reported that the deceased was always put in custody of her
grandmother at Ilepa quarters in Ikare anytime her mother, Bunmi, who is a
trader was going to the market to sell her goods.
Meanwhile, on the day the little girl
met her untimely death, Bunmi was said to have taken Adubarin to her mother
in-law but only met her husband elder brother at home and he promised to take
care of the child until her grandmother returns home.
On her return from the market, Bunmi met
her daughter’s lifeless body in Samuel’s room.
The suspect was said to have confessed
to the family members that he killed the girl for ritual purposes.
The State Police Public Relations
Officer (PPRO), Mr. Femi Joseph, who confirmed the incident said the matter had
been transferred to the State Criminal Investigative Department (CID) Akure for
further investigation.
