Thirty-six ships
laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to
arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from Dec. 11 to Dec.
26.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) confirmed this in its daily publication - `Shipping Position’, - a copy of which was made available to the Newsmen on Friday in Lagos.
It indicated that the expected ships contained general cargoes, containers, steel products, buck wheat, rice, bulk sugar, bulk salt, base oil, crude palm olein, bulk charcoal, bulk fertiliser, empty containers and petrol.
According to the document, nine other ships have arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk rice, containers, diesel, petrol and base oil.
